RATS Activity
The Regional anti-terrorist structure (RATS) is permanent acting agency of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
In its activity it follows the documents and decisions adopted within SCO and is designed for assisting, coordinating and interacting the competent agencies of SCO member countries on fighting with terrorism, separatism and extremism.

On July 26 of the current year a meeting of the Director of the EC RATS SCO, Kasymov V.T., with the delegation of the Public Security Minister of the PRC lead by the deputy Chief of Anti-Terrorism Department, Chjao Yunchen, was held at the office of the Executive Committee of the RATS SCO.

Extreme condemnation of the Executive Committee of the RATS SCO are caused by uprising activity of insurgents undertaking attempts to destabilize situation, to cause a threat to peaceful citizens in the leading countries of the world, in regions with a normal, systematic life.

During the Summit of the Leaders of the SCO member states in July of the current year the Director of the Executive Committee of the RATS SCO, Kasymov V.T., exchanged opinions with the Director of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, Patrushev N.P., the Security Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Abdurahimov H.S., and National Security Committee Chairman of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Dutbaev N.N., upon going on situation in Central Asian region, arising problem of fighting with terrorism, separatism and extremism.
