History
Member countries of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) which are participants of Shanghai convention “On fighting with terrorism, separatism and extremism” from June15, 2001, taking the aims and principals of UN, concerning international Pease, security and good neighborly relations, and also cooperation between states, realizing that terrorism, separatism and extremism are the threat for Peaсe and security of nations, for developing friendly relations between countries, and also for ensuring the main human rights and freedom, being convinced in necessity of mutual coordinating actions in interests of providing territorial integrity, safety and stability, also by increasing cooperation on fighting with terrorism, separatism and extremism, proceeding from Declaration on creation of Shanghai Cooperation Organization from June15,2001, convention “On fighting with terrorism, separatism and extremism” from June15,2001 and the Charter of Shanghai Cooperation Organization from June7,2002, established the Regional anti-terrorist structure (RATS) of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) with the centre in Tashkent city in the Republic of Uzbekistan on June 7, 2002. In accordance with the charter of Shanghai Cooperation Organization from June7, 2002, Shanghai convention on fighting with terrorism, separatism and extremism from June15, 2001 and agreement between member countries of Shanghai Cooperation Organization about the Regional anti-terrorist structure from June7, 2002, Executive committee of the Regional anti-terrorist Structure of Shanghai Organization Cooperation (RATS SCO) has been functioning since January1, 2004 at Tashkent city, which is permanent agency within SCO and by the decision of SCO country member’s heads of Kasimov Vyacheslav Temirovich was appointed a director of Executive committee RATS SCO, born in 1947, native of Buhara region, worked in the competent agencies more than 30 years, military rank is major-general. |
