On July 26 of the current year a meeting of the Director of the EC RATS SCO, Kasymov V.T., with the delegation of the Public Security Minister of the PRC lead by the deputy Chief of Anti-Terrorism Department, Chjao Yunchen, was held at the office of the Executive Committee of the RATS SCO.

During the meeting the issues of activities of international terrorist organizations especially «Al-Qaida», «Hizb-ut-Tahrir», «East Turkestan» and «IMU» in the region of Central Asian countries and the law enforcement bodies of the SCO member states on struggling against terrorism, separatism and extremism were discussed.

Chjao Yunchen highly assessed the role of the EC RATS SCO in joining the efforts of the competent services of the SCO member states in struggling against international terrorism, providing security, peace and stability in Central Asian region.
