During a visit in Astana of the Republic of Kazakhstan to participate in the sessions of Security Council Secretaries and the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affaires of the SCO member states the Director of the Executive Committee of the RATS SCO, Kasymov V.T., had a working meeting with the National Security Committee Chairman of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Dutbaev N.N.

A working meeting was held in the frame of developing contacts of the Executive Committee of the RATS with the competent services of the SCO member states.

During the meeting two sides exchanged opinions about situation going on in the region, about new challenges and threats, aspiration of extremist forces for destabilizing the situation in Central Asian countries.

Joint measures upon fighting with terrorism, separatism and extremism and role of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure in it were discussed.

A number of documents which is going to be ratified in the Summit of the Heads of states was prepared.

Mutual opinion and understanding about necessity of coordinated efforts upon counteracting to aspiration of terrorism and extremism in the space of the SCO were expressed.
